Lake of Kuortanejärvi ends to the bridge of Salmi and continues as river of Lapua. The river is 120km long and lowers to the Gulf of Bothnia at Uusikaarlepyy. Kuortaneenjärvi is one of the largest lakes in South Ostrobothnia. It is 18 km long and 5 km wide. There are lots of summer cottages a the shores of lake. Photographer: Jyri Mäkinen – Horizont.fi
