Oittaa manor house is one of three historic manor house around Bodominjärvi, the other two are Bäckby and the Bodom estates. The manor area is in the south end of the lake in a small Oittaa the river mouth. Oittaa was already in the early 1500s prosperous yksinäistila, which in the first known owner of the mentioned (about 1510) Mårten Persson.
